- You install CODProfit on a Shopify store you control, and connect PostEx and Meta accounts you own.
- It's free during beta (until September 2026). After that, you pick a tier or uninstall — no auto-charges.
- We'll do our best to keep the app running, but we don't promise zero downtime — especially during beta.
- Either side can end this agreement at any time, without notice or penalty.
Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you" or "merchant") and CODProfit ("CODProfit", "we", "us").
You accept these Terms when you install CODProfit on a Shopify store, sign in to the dashboard, or otherwise access our service. If you don't agree to these Terms, don't install the app.
If you're accepting these Terms on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.
The service we provide
CODProfit is a profit analytics dashboard for Shopify stores in Pakistan that ship cash-on-delivery via PostEx. We pull order data from Shopify, delivery data from PostEx, and ad spend data from Meta — then we compute and display your real net profit, including ROAS, POAS, CAC, and margin metrics.
The service is provided as a Shopify-embedded application accessible from your Shopify Admin, plus the marketing website at codprofit.co.
We may add, change, or remove features at any time. If a change materially reduces functionality you depend on, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email.
Who can use CODProfit
To use CODProfit, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be the owner or authorized operator of the Shopify store you install CODProfit on.
- Be the account holder or authorized user of any PostEx merchant account and Meta ad account you connect.
- Be operating a legitimate business — we reserve the right to refuse service to stores selling illegal goods, fraud, or anything that violates Shopify's, PostEx's, or Meta's acceptable use policies.
- Comply with all applicable laws in Pakistan and any other jurisdiction in which you operate.
Your account & responsibilities
You're responsible for:
- Keeping your Shopify login secure (we authenticate through Shopify OAuth — we never see your password).
- The accuracy of data you enter into CODProfit (COGS, expenses, etc.). Garbage in, garbage out — if your COGS are wrong, your profit numbers will be wrong.
- All activity that happens through your account, including by team members you grant access to your Shopify store.
- Notifying us promptly at support@codprofit.co if you suspect unauthorized access.
Third-party integrations
CODProfit works by connecting to third-party services on your behalf. You acknowledge and agree that:
Shopify
You must accept Shopify's Terms of Service to install our app. We read order, line item, refund, and customer data through the Shopify Admin API in read-only mode.
PostEx
You provide your PostEx merchant API token, which we use to pull delivery status and fee data on your behalf. You remain bound by PostEx's terms of service for that account.
Meta (Facebook)
When you connect Meta Ads, you authorize CODProfit to read your ad account list and daily ad spend via the Meta Marketing API using the ads_read permission. You remain bound by Meta's Terms of Service and the Meta Platform Terms.
We do not have, and will never request, the ads_management permission. CODProfit cannot create, edit, pause, duplicate, or delete any campaign on your behalf.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from CODProfit.
- Use CODProfit to access or analyze data from Shopify stores, PostEx accounts, or Meta ad accounts you don't own or aren't authorized to access.
- Resell, sublicense, white-label, or otherwise commercialize CODProfit's output without our written permission.
- Use the service to violate Pakistani law or any other applicable law.
- Interfere with our service through bots, scrapers, denial-of-service attacks, or any other malicious activity.
- Use the service to facilitate fraud, money laundering, or any illegal commerce.
Violation of this section is grounds for immediate termination, without refund of any prepaid fees.
Pricing & payment
Beta period — free
CODProfit is free to install and use during the beta period, which runs until 30 September 2026. During beta, all features are available with no order limit, no feature gating, and no requirement to provide payment information.
After beta
Starting 1 October 2026, CODProfit moves to a paid model based on your monthly Shopify order volume. Tiers (subject to change with notice):
- Starter — up to 500 orders/month — PKR 1,499/month
- Growth — up to 2,500 orders/month — PKR 3,999/month
- Scale — unlimited orders — PKR 8,999/month
We'll notify you by email and in-app at least 30 days before any charges begin. You can uninstall the app at any time before charges begin to avoid them entirely — we will never auto-charge without your explicit consent during a billing setup flow.
Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Shopify's billing API, which means the charge appears on your standard Shopify invoice. Refunds are at our discretion but we're generally happy to refund any month where the service was materially broken.
Service availability & support
We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee a specific availability percentage during the beta period. After beta, paid tiers will include an SLA published on our website.
Support is provided by email at support@codprofit.co. Typical response time is one business day for paying merchants and within five business days for beta users. We're based in Karachi (PKT, UTC+5).
Maintenance windows, when needed, are scheduled outside Pakistani business hours and announced in-app at least 24 hours in advance.
Termination
By you
You can terminate your use of CODProfit at any time by uninstalling the app from Shopify Admin. We'll delete all your data within 24 hours; if you'd like written confirmation, email privacy@codprofit.co and we'll reply once the wipe is complete.
By us
We may suspend or terminate your access if:
- You materially breach these Terms.
- We're required to do so by law or by Shopify, PostEx, or Meta.
- You haven't logged in for 12 months.
- We discontinue the service entirely — in which case we'll give 90 days' notice and provide a data export.
Upon termination, your access to the dashboard ends and your data is deleted per the retention schedule in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer of warranties
CODProfit is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that all defects will be corrected.
Profit numbers shown by CODProfit are estimates derived from data received from Shopify, PostEx, and Meta, plus inputs you provide (COGS, expenses). They are not a substitute for professional accounting. Use them as a management dashboard, not as a tax filing.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CODProfit's total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to liability, or (b) PKR 5,000.
In no event will CODProfit be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations — in that case, our liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed by your local law.
Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify CODProfit and its officers, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, or damage (including legal fees) arising out of:
- Your breach of these Terms.
- Your violation of any law or third-party right.
- Your misuse of the service, including violations of Shopify's, PostEx's, or Meta's terms.
- Any data you input that is unlawful, infringing, or fraudulent.
Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of CODProfit will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
Before filing a legal claim, you agree to first contact us at support@codprofit.co and give us 30 days to resolve the issue informally. We'll do the same before filing any claim against you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
- Show an in-app banner for at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
- Where we have your email address on file, notify you by email at least 30 days before any material change takes effect.
Continued use of CODProfit after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you don't agree, uninstall the app — we'll delete your data and the original Terms governing your prior use will apply to anything that came before.
