Delete everything we have on your store.

Three self-serve ways to delete your data — including everything we received from Shopify, PostEx, and Meta. No forms to fill out, no permission needed. Pick the method that fits.

TL;DR · pick one
  • Disconnect Meta only — CODProfit Settings → Disconnect Meta. Removes Meta tokens and ad spend in under 60 seconds.
  • Uninstall everything — Shopify Admin → Apps → Uninstall. Full wipe within 24 hours.
  • Email us — privacy@codprofit.co. Full wipe within 30 days, with email confirmation.

What gets deleted

When you trigger a full deletion (Method 2 or 3), we permanently remove every piece of data we hold about your store. There is no soft-delete, no archive, no recovery.

Irreversible Deletion is permanent. We cannot recover your data after a full wipe completes — not even with a court order. If you reinstall later, you start fresh.

Three ways to delete

Choose based on what you want to remove and how fast you want it done.

Disconnect Meta only (in-app)

~ 60 seconds · Meta data only

Removes our access token, your selected ad account ID and name, and all daily ad spend rows we've stored for your store. Your other CODProfit data (Shopify orders, PostEx fees, COGS) stays.

  1. Open CODProfit from your Shopify Admin.
  2. Click Settings in the top navigation.
  3. Scroll to the Meta Ads section.
  4. Click the Disconnect Meta button.
  5. Confirm in the dialog. Done — the badge changes to "Not connected" instantly.
Scope: Meta access token, ad account ID, ad account name, all ad_spend rows for your store.

Uninstall the Shopify app (deletes everything)

< 24 hours · full wipe

The fastest way to delete everything. When you uninstall CODProfit from Shopify, Shopify sends us an APP_UNINSTALLED webhook within seconds. Our handler immediately deletes your store record and cascades to every related row in our database.

  1. In Shopify Admin, go to Settings → Apps and sales channels.
  2. Find CODProfit in the list.
  3. Click the three-dot menu → Uninstall.
  4. Confirm. Shopify sends us an APP_UNINSTALLED webhook and we delete your store record — including all related orders, ad spend, COGS, expenses, and tokens — within 24 hours (typically within seconds).
  5. If you'd like written confirmation that the wipe completed, email privacy@codprofit.co and we'll reply once it's done.

Email request (manual)

< 30 days · full wipe

Use this if you can't access the Shopify Admin, want a written audit trail, or want to delete data after you've already uninstalled (in case our webhook handler missed anything — rare, but possible).

  1. Email privacy@codprofit.co from the email address associated with your CODProfit account.
  2. Include your Shopify store domain (e.g. trendyhomes.myshopify.com) so we can locate your records.
  3. We'll verify ownership (typically by replying to a Shopify-registered email) and confirm receipt within 5 business days.
  4. Full deletion within 30 days, with confirmation email when complete.

Timeline & confirmation

We commit to the following deletion timelines, measured from when we receive the deletion trigger:

  • Disconnect Meta: within 60 seconds (synchronous — happens during your click).
  • App uninstall: within 24 hours of receiving the Shopify APP_UNINSTALLED webhook (typically within seconds).
  • Email request: within 30 days of verified request, typically within 5 business days.

For email-based deletion requests, we'll reply with confirmation when the wipe completes, stating which categories of data were deleted and the timestamp.

Sub-processor deletion

Some of our sub-processors retain encrypted backups for short periods after deletion as part of their disaster-recovery practices. Specifically:

  • Supabase — database backups retained up to 7 days, then permanently overwritten.
  • Railway — deployment logs retained up to 30 days; do not contain platform data.

If you need accelerated deletion at any sub-processor, email privacy@codprofit.co and we'll request expedited deletion on your behalf.

Revoking access directly from Facebook

You can revoke CODProfit's permission to read your Meta ad data at any time from inside Facebook itself — without going through our app. This is useful if you no longer have access to the Shopify Admin or simply want to cut off our access immediately.

  1. Sign in to facebook.com.
  2. Go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations, or visit facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools.
  3. Find CODProfit in the list.
  4. Click View and edit, then Remove at the bottom.
  5. Confirm. Our access is revoked immediately on Facebook's side.
Note Revoking from Facebook stops future data collection from your Meta account. It does not delete the spend data we already have stored. To delete that data too, also use Method 1 (Disconnect Meta) or Method 2 (Uninstall) above.
